Switching between monthly and annual

You can move between monthly and annual whenever you fancy, but there's one thing worth knowing before you do it, so read the gotcha at the bottom first.

1. Sign in and go to your account page.
2. Click Change next to your membership (that link is change-membership-2 if you want to go straight there).
3. Pick the plan you want, monthly or annual, and check out.

Here's the catch. Switching starts the new plan fresh from that day. It doesn't pro-rata or carry over whatever's left on your current plan, so if you switch halfway through a paid month or year, you don't get that time credited. The tidy time to switch is around your renewal date, when there's little left on the old plan to lose.
