If You’ve Booked With Me Before, You’ll Notice the Difference
If you booked a reading with me up until a couple of weeks ago, you’ll know that my booking system, while it worked, was a little bit clunky. The process took too many clicks, looked a bit naff, and made you hop around the site just to get your spot. Aesthetically, it didn’t feel sleek, and functionally? It made things harder than they needed to be.
Now? It’s a whole new vibe.
The Old Way Was a Maze
Before, I had each reading listed as its own individual product. So if you wanted to book a bog-standard reading like Get Your Shit Together, you had to find that exact page to get to the booking form.
Maybe you started on the homepage and clicked Book Now. That took you to a big list of readings. Then you had to click Bog Standard Readings. Then click Get Your Shit Together. Then choose whether you wanted it online or in person. Then go to the booking form. Then the basket. Then checkout. Oh, and you probably had to reload a couple of pages along the way just to get it to work.
Not anymore.
Booking Now Takes Seconds, Not Minutes
With the new system, the booking form is right there on the page. You don’t need to go hunting. You just:
- Click Book Now
- Choose your reading
- Choose your location (Zoom, Flow by Transcend, or the Tarot With Gord Sanctuary)
- Pick any add-ons you want
- Select your time
- Fill in your info and pay
That’s it. No extra tabs. No reloads. Just a smooth process that lets you get booked in quickly and with less faff.
Easier to Understand, Easier to Use
The add-ons now only appear when they’re actually relevant, and they come with proper explanations so you know exactly what you’re getting.
I’ve also made it possible to book recurring readings if you want ongoing support. Want a regular weekly or monthly session? You can set that up right from the form.
Down the line, this system will also let me offer reading packages, events, and more. Plus, the whole thing is lighter on my website, so everything should load quicker.
What’s Gone (And Why)
I’ve said goodbye to a couple of things that weren’t working:
- Recorded readings: These were only available for bog-standard options and barely got booked. They were also a pain to set up.
- Gift cards: Again, barely used, and super fiddly to manage. I might bring them back later in a simpler format, but for now, they’re on pause.
I’d rather focus on what is working and make sure it’s as good as it can be.
You’ll Notice the Difference
This isn’t just a new booking tool. It’s a smoother, clearer, more accessible way to work with me. You can still get all the same great readings, but now the process of booking one is actually enjoyable.
