Tarot grows when you practise it with other people. Simply Tarot Circle is a weekly online session where we pull cards together, talk about what we’re seeing, and then read for one another. It’s structured, it’s regular, and it actually moves your practice forward.
Circle is part of Simply Tarot Membership, not a separate thing you have to keep buying. You can drop in on its own if you want to try it, and your first three are free. If you stay, Simply Tarot Membership is where it lives, along with everything else I make.
What Is Simply Tarot Circle?
A weekly session every Sunday, 7 pm – 8:30 pm (UK Time), live online. We start with a group card pull and check-in, then dig into that week’s focus together, a card, a spread, a way of reading, a figure from tarot’s history, or a question. We always finish by reading for each other. It’s part of Simply Tarot Membership and available as a £5 drop-in if you want to try it before committing.

Coming up at the Circle
Sunday 1 November: Death: The Question
This week we’re asking Death different questions and seeing how the answer changes. If Death turns up when you’ve asked about your relationship, you’ll read it differently from when you’ve asked whether to take a job. It’s the Sunday after Halloween and it’s a card a lot of people get nervous about, so bring your Death card and your questions.
Sunday 8 November: Reading Clinic
This week is our first Reading Clinic, a space where you can get advice on your own readings and we learn new ways of reading the cards as a group. If you want, bring a reading you’ve been struggling with and have some questions about. A few of you will take the whole reading and say what you feel it’s saying, and then we’ll open it up to everyone.
If your reading was for somebody else, or it involves somebody else, please anonymise them as best you can and don’t bring in any personal details. If nobody brings one, I’ll pull some cards live for a made-up person and we’ll work through that together.
Sunday 15 November: Love Readings
This week we’re talking about love readings, and how each of us approaches doing a reading for somebody about their relationship. Bring your questions, and your opinions.
Sunday 22 November: The Card You Love
Back in September we talked about the cards you can’t stand, and this week it’s the other way round. Somebody names the card they always hope to see and says why, then we find out who else loves it and who’s going to argue against it. Bring the card you’d always want to pull.
Sunday 29 November: The Ace of Cups: Where It Is in the Story
In October we looked at how the Magician’s meaning changed depending on the cards around it, and this week we’re doing the same with a Minor Arcana card, the Ace of Cups. We’ll have a few readings on screen and talk about the story each one tells, and what the Ace of Cups means once it’s sat next to other cards.
Why Join A Tarot Circle?
Reading alone only gets you so far. You can learn the meanings, you can pull cards every morning, but at some point you need other people. Someone pulls a card you thought you knew inside out and they notice something you’ve never seen. Their take is completely different from yours, and just as true. That’s where tarot actually opens up. It doesn’t matter where you’re at. Beginners, experienced readers, Simply Tarot graduates, all welcome.
If you’ve been wanting to read for other people but haven’t felt ready, this is where that changes. You practise in pairs, you get feedback, and you stop second-guessing yourself.

It’s called a circle because everyone has a place and a voice. It’s not a class where I talk and you listen. We sit together, exchange ideas, and practise as equals.

What Should I Bring To Simply Tarot Circle?
Your tarot deck and somewhere quiet to sit. A notebook is useful if you like making notes but not essential. That’s honestly all you need.

Yes and no. Simply Tarot Circle is a natural next step for those who have completed Simply Tarot Course and want to continue practising. At the same time, it is not limited to course graduates. Anyone who wants to explore tarot in a group setting is welcome, regardless of background or experience.

Absolutely. Simply Tarot Circle is open to readers at every stage, including professionals.
