I am Gord. Tarot found me in the middle of a massive life shift, and now I read full time from my home in Salford for people all over Greater Manchester.
I say the same three things at the start of every reading, and they are most of the reason people come back.
The first is that I make no claim to know what happens next. If you want certainty, I am the wrong person. I am not even here to hand you hope. I am here to help you understand where you actually are so you can take control of it, and sometimes that means a reality check rather than a comforting story.
The second is that I will not sugarcoat, and I will not be cruel about it either. I am not going to pretend things are fine when they are not, or that everything is a disaster when it is actually alright.
The third is the one people remember. If something I say does not make sense, tell me. My ego can handle it. I am neurodivergent, I grew up in London, I have been in Manchester ten years, and sometimes a thing makes perfect sense in my head and nowhere else. You should never sit there nodding along at something that did not land.
I have read tarot for years, and I am also a Certified Tarot Coach and an LGBTQ+ Coach and a member of the Tarot Association of the British Isles.

What to Expect When You Come Round
Once you have booked and paid I send you the address. You can park right outside on the drive.
There is no waiting room and nobody else is booked in around you, so arrive bang on time and the whole slot is yours. When you step in we go straight through to the reading room.
It is my actual front room rather than a treatment space. Low lighting, essential oils going, a sofa you can sink into and my armchair opposite. The shelves are full of my own things: the cards, crystals, drums and sound instruments, an old tape deck, books on philosophy and theology and tarot, and trinkets I have dragged home from all over.
It is also where I work, so do not be surprised by a recording light, a tripod or a microphone in the corner. That is where the online readings and the teaching happen too.
Getting Here
People come to me from all over Greater Manchester, from the Quays, MediaCity, Stretford, Eccles, Prestwich and the city centre, and plenty come from further out. You can park on the drive.
Booking takes a minute. Pick how long you want and the calendar shows my real availability, because it is wired straight to my own diary. If a slot is showing, it is yours, and it is very unlikely I will need to move it. In-person readings are paid for when you book.
If getting here is a faff, or you are nowhere near Manchester, the same reading happens on Zoom from the same room.

What Happens in a Reading
I will set the scene, and we will begin with a short meditation.
Then I pull the cards in threes and we talk through what is coming up.
You set the pace. Some people hear a card, say yes that tracks, and we move on. Others spend half the session on one card. Either is fine, because you are paying for the time rather than for a number of cards.
Towards the end I will start drawing some oracle cards, and I will always finish by asking whether the reading was actually helpful, because that is the most important thing to me.
